I was at Iona the first week of May 06. Had fantastic weather, which I think was pretty lucky for that early. Stayed at the Abbey. The program at the Abbey for the week was on environmental justice. Program was not great (original leader could not make it and a sub came in at the last minute.) The beauty of the place and the sense of community outstripped any possible program. When I go again, I'll try to spend some extra time around the western isles. Flew into Glasgow, took the bus to Oban, spent the night at a B&B and then took the ferry to Iona. I was in Scotland for 6 weeks and added a bike trip through the highlands and a car tour with my family. Definitely want to take my wife to Iona and get back to Scotland again. Peace. Rick Behrens
